What to do when you can’t remember the author or title of a book and NoveList isn’t giving you the results you desire? Try Google Books! I recently read better than average historical romance novel (Don’t judge me!) and couldn’t remember the author or title. However, I remembered the name of one of the characters.
I visited Google Books and typed in Duke of Ashton. (Again, don’t judge.) Sure enough, “Nowhere Near Respectable” was the seventh search result. Nice!
So, if the author, title, and plot aren’t getting the results you need, try to remember (or prompt your patron to remember) some character names and search Google Books.
