Do you want to add a cute little Explora widget to your website or blog? If so, feel free to copy the code displayed below and change the part labeled as “YOUR_EBSCO_ID_HERE” to, well, your EBSCO ID. Don’t know your ID? I might just have that for you at the bottom of the post.

Copy the Code

</iframe><a href=”http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?authtype=ip,uid&custid=YOUR_EBSCO_ID_HERE&profile=explora” target=”_blank”>
<img src=”http://smallcontent.ebsco-content.com/interfacefiles/client/src_ic-15.1.0-81/images/src_ic_logo.png” />

The “target=”_blank” part of this code sets the link (Explora) to open in a new tap or browser window. If you want the link to open in the same tab/window, remove that part of the code.

Do you need a different type of authorization — perhaps you use barcodes instead of a user ID? If so, check out these instructions on setting up custom URLs. (Hint, just change the link from authtype=ip,uid to authtype=ip,cpid…)

Additional Graphics

EBSCO also provided a few other Logos for our use, including the large masthead graphic at the top of this post. Right-click on the image to get the image URL.

Don’t have Explora set up yet? What are you waiting for? Follow these instructions in EBSCO Admin to set up your Explora interface.

EBSCO IDs

(This is an older data set. There is a chance that your ID could have changed over the years. Please contact me if you have any questions!)
